Alloy powder is a metal powder formed by partial or complete alloying of two or more components. Alloy powders are mainly classified by composition into iron alloy powder, copper alloy powder, nickel alloy powder, cobalt alloy powder, aluminum alloy powder, titanium alloy powder, and precious metal alloy powder. It can be used to improve the wear resistance of workpiece surfaces or repair the size of worn parts, as well as composite anti friction materials for automobiles. With the application of powder high-temperature alloy technology in aerospace manufacturing, higher requirements have been put forward for powder milling and powder treatment processes.

Purpose of screening alloy powder

Removing impurities, that is, removing powder particles, powder residues, and inclusions that exceed the required size, further improving the quality of the powder.

1. Coarse grained alloy powder

Generally, using a regular ternary rotary vibrating screen can meet the requirements;

2. Ultra fine particle alloy powder (high mesh size)

Due to its strong adsorption, easy aggregation, high static electricity, high precision, high density, and light density, ultrasonic vibrating screen should be selected to meet the requirements.
