Copper chloride, molecular formula: CuCl2 · 2H2O. Green to blue powder or rhombohedral double cone crystal. The anhydrous substance is a brownish yellow powder. It often exists in the form of (CuCl2) n. Has hygroscopicity. The density of copper chloride is 2.54g/cm3.

Easy to dissolve in water, soluble in alcohols, acetone, ethyl acetate, and ammonia water. Slightly soluble in ether. Easily deliquescent. It is prone to weathering in dry air. When heated to 100 ℃, 2 crystal waters are lost.

When crystals are formed from copper chloride aqueous solution, dihydrate is obtained at 26-42 ℃, tetrahydrate is obtained below 15 ℃, trihydrate is obtained at 15-25.7 ℃, monohydrate is obtained above 42 ℃, and anhydrous substance is obtained at 100 ℃. Toxic! Slowly add a certain amount of copper oxide to hydrochloric acid for acid hydrolysis reaction. After purification, filtration, concentration, cooling to 26-42 ℃ to precipitate crystals, solid-liquid separation, and drying.

Application fields of copper chloride

It is used as an additive to increase copper ions in electroplating tanks, as a catalyst in organic and inorganic reactions, as a deodorizing, desulfurizing and purifying agent in the petroleum industry, as a mordant in printing and dyeing, and as an oxidant for aniline dyes. It is also used in metal smelting, as a colorant for glass and ceramics, and as an additive for fish feed.

Copper chloride screening need

Since copper chloride is crystalline and has no prisms, it is easy to block the screen mesh. It is recommended to use an ultrasonic vibrating screen.

Screening mesh: 20 mesh, 25 mesh, 40 mesh, 100 mesh

Output: 1000-2000kg/h
